There are many ways of going to a museum – maybe you want to draw, make up your own story or solve the geometrical riddles of the floors.
You can use our free drawing materials or buy one of our activity packs. We also regularly hold drawing workshops and storytelling events for children and grown-ups.
Draw when you feel like it
A good place to begin is with paper and pencil! At the meeting place on the first floor you can use the various drawing materials free of charge. There are paper and pencils as well as a flyer with good ideas on how you can get started with drawing.
Floors and geometry are about beautiful mathematics! Thorvaldsens Museum is decorated from floor to ceiling, and each room offers various geometrical riddles. Price: DKK 10 per sheet.
“Top of the Body” is a takeaway bag full of fun materials, so you can begin back home making your own sculptured heads – and exhibit them in a museum setting. Price: DKK 30.
In the school holidays and on the last Saturday in each month we have offers for children and their adults. We also have drawing workshops for families. Read more and keep an eye on upcoming events at this website.
