Join us for a magical evening at the museum when Hannah Schneider returns to our beautiful spaces with the brand-new concert "In This Room." Created during her residency at the museum, this concert will be the first time the public can experience these exquisite works. In an era where music is often created with the help of AI and technology, Hannah Schneider takes a different path. Instead of cloning and synthesizing voices, she seeks human presence and intimacy in her music.

During her residency, Hannah Schneider collaborated with several prominent musicians who contributed to the composition and recording process. Together, they explored what happens when acoustic orchestral instruments form the basis of the music, rather than being a later addition in the production.

The music created in the museum's inspiring spaces is a blend of string effects, organic sounds, breathing, and overtones. The result is a striking fusion of electronic layers, catchy melodies, and modern compositions, arranged specifically for the evening by the talented Christian Balvig. Known as a film composer, producer, and arranger for Copenhagen Phil’s concert series, Balvig has also co-composed the album.
