Thorvaldsen's Museum

We are currently in the process of taking down the many works from the special exhibition BHARTI KHER – MYTHOLOGIES, which will now continue its journey around the world. This means that some rooms in the museum may be temporarily inaccessible during opening hours. In return, you will have the opportunity to take a behind-the-scenes look and see how the artworks are packed and prepared for transport.

Thorvaldsen’s painting collection is currently closed, as we are installing a new painting exhibition, which will open this summer.
